Math and Science That Actually Make Sense

I work with students who want to genuinely understand what they’re learning—not just get through assignments or exams.

If you’ve ever thought, “I can follow the steps, but I don’t really get it,” that’s the problem I solve.

How I Teach

I’m a clear explainer, but more importantly, I’m good at spotting where understanding breaks down and rebuilding from there. I listen carefully to how students are thinking and try different approaches—stories, diagrams, metaphors, and (when it helps) a bit of humor—until things finally click.

Many students tell me that concepts start to feel coherent and even enjoyable in a way they never did before.

I’m funny, I’m enthusiastic, and I take the ideas seriously. My goal is not just to get the right answer, but to make the subject feel human and understandable.

Who I Work Best With

I focus on deep understanding rather than exam preparation. While this often improves performance as a by-product, I’m not a good fit for last-minute cramming or quick homework fixes.

I work best with curious, motivated students who want things to make sense and are willing to talk them through.

Online Lessons

All lessons are conducted online via Zoom. Sessions are interactive, and I provide recordings and notes so you can revisit ideas afterward.

Free Sample Lessons

If you’d like to get a sense of how I teach, here are a few short lessons in math and science.

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, feel free to reach out and tell me a bit about what you’re studying and what’s not quite clicking.

My rate is $110 per hour.

I offer a free introductory conversation so we can determine whether we’re a good fit before scheduling regular lessons.
